Top 2010 Concert Tours and Rumors

2009 was a great year for concerts and 2010 looks to be no different. From AC/DC to U2, from Brooks & Dunn to Taylor Swift, one big act after another is either touring the World, North America, or both.
While most of the tours listed below have already been booked, a few are currently in the rumor stage. However, if the rumors turn out to be true, and they probably will, then 2010 will be a banner year for rock fans of the 1960's and 70's.
UPCOMING IN 2010
AC/DC - The rockers from down under continue their Black Ice World Tour which seems like it started during the Carter Administration. The tour's fifth North America leg starts April 8.
Alicia Keys - She's the best thing to hit R&B since the ampersand. Alicia Keys starts The Freedom Tour Feb 28.
Black Eyed Peas - The B.E.P's E.N.D. Tour started in 2009. It gets back underway Feb. 4 in the A-T-L.
Bon Jovi - The Circle World Tour starts Feb. 11 in Hawaii. After several dates in North America, Bon Jovi hits the road in Europe.
Bryan Adams - In February and March of 2010, Canadians' own Bryan Adams performs a handful of concerts in North America.
Celtic Woman - Remember it's "woman" not "women" and remember their North American tour begins February of 2010 in Roanoke, Virginia and last through the spring.
Creed - Creed started touring in 2009 and will continue performing into 2010.
Dave Matthews Band - It may come as a shock to everyone but Dave Matthews Band is on the road again in 2010.
Depeche Mode - What do Guitar Hero and Depeche Mode have in common? They're both fun but there's no actual guitar playing involved. Depeche Mode's Tour of Universe has them in Europe through February of 2010.
Eric Clapton and Eric Clapton & Jeff Beck - Slowhand performs a handful of dates starting Feb. 15 in Pittsburgh. Clapton and Beck team for three shows in mid-February. If you like blues-rock this is the show for you.
Green Day - Teenage angst is coming to a venue near you. Green Day's 21st Century Breakdown World Tour continues in 2010.
Guns and Roses - Welcome to the Jungle or in this case the Chinese Democracy Tour Series. It visits Canada and South America in 2010.
Harry Connick, Jr. - The crooner hits the road for a handful of dates in January and February of 2010. He concludes his 13-city run on Feb. 19 in Virgina Beach.
Jay-Z - After canceling some dates in 2009, Jay-Z continues his Blueprint 3 tour in 2010. First show is in Sunrise, Florida on Feb. 20.
Jimmy Buffett - Margaritaville hits the road in 2010 with the Summerzcool Tour. Watch out for the pop-tops.
John Mayer - Touring to support his 2009 release Battle Studies, John Mayer plays a series of show across the U.S. and Canada beginning Feb. 4 in Sunrise, Florida. His tour wraps April 10 in Chicago.
KISS - The Sonic Boom Over Europe Tour is set to rock and roll all night starting May 1 in Sheffield, England. More KISS dates outside of Europe are said to be on their way.
Lady Gaga - After Lady Gaga and her Monster Ball Tour finish in North American, she ventures to Europe and Australia for a string of dates.
Mariah Carey - Her Angels Advocate Tour runs through the end of February. The tour is supporting Mariah Carey's latest album Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel.
Metallica - In 2010, the band continues its World Magnetic Tour that started way back in 2008. This year Metallica is scheduled to visit Latin American and Europe.
Michael Buble - His Crazy Love Tour kicks off March 10 in Orlando and continues through the beginning of April. In May and June, Michael Buble hops the pond to play some dates in Europe.
Muse - Resistance maybe futile but Muse's Resistance Tour is not. Currently underway in the South Pacific, the Resistance Tour's second North American leg is scheduled to start February 27 in Atlanta.
Nickelback - You can catch Nickelback in 2010 on their Dark Horse Tour. It gallops across North American from early April to June.
Ringo Star and His All-Star Band - Ringo and his friends have a handful of dates scheduled for this summer. Get ready for some serious nostalgia.
Riverdance - It's the final Riverdance Tour of all-time or so they say. You can catch the organized Irish stompers in North America and Europe throughout 2010.
Scorpions - The Scorps! Get Your Sting and Blackout World Tour kicks off in Europe this March. The world tour is expected to end in 2012.
Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers - The band will be running down a dream in 2010 with their Superhighway Tour.
U2 - You can still experience U2's 360 Degrees tour in 2010. Bono and the boys will be back in the U.S. this summer.
Wilco - Will you catch Wilco in 2010? I know I will. The Chicago-based band led by Jeff Tweedy tours North America and Europe this year.
Young Jeezy - His U.S. tour starts Feb. 4 in Pembroke Pines, Florida. It concludes March 26 at Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Brad Paisley - In 2010, the country star wraps up the final leg of his American Saturday Night Tour. Paisley's 20-city jaunt ends March 6 in Charleston.
Brooks & Dunn - The gentlemen's farewell outing kicks off April 23 in Sacramento and wraps up Aug. 8 in Chicago. The Last Rodeo Tour has Brooks & Dunn performing in 47 cities.
Carrie Underwood - The Play On Tour begins March 11 in Reading, Pennsylvania. Carrie Underwood is out supporting her third album since winning American Idol.
George Strait and Reba McEntire - The King and Queen of country music launch their Twang Tour Jan. 22 in Baltimore. They plan on visiting 18 other cities across America.
Rascal Flatts - Their Unstoppable Tour visits 20-cities in the U.S. and Canada. Opening for Rascal Flatts is former Hootie and Blowfish front man Darius Rucker.
Taylor Swift - In 2010, fans can still catch Taylor Swift out on her Fearless Tour. Her trek runs from February through June.
Tim McGraw - Joined by Lady Antebellum, Tim McGraw's Southern Voice Tour gets underway Feb. 11 in Omaha, Nebraska.
RUMORS
Eagles and Fleetwood Mac - Apparently these two legendary bands are in the routing stages of a joint tour for 2010.
Leona Lewis - The British singer is gearing up for a world tour that's starts in late May. Even though she's only scheduled to visit Europe there's rampant speculation she'll add North American dates.
Paul McCartney - Insiders believe Sir Paul has one last big tour in him and he'll undertake it in 2010.
Pearl Jam - Rumors swirl that Pearl Jam's Backspacer Tour will return to the U.S. over the summer.
Rihanna - The Rated R Tour has Rihanna singing all through Europe in 2010. North American dates are coming... hopefully.
Shakira - She's hitting the road in 2010 but the "when" and "where" has not been revealed.
Van Halen - Rumors have been circulating for months that Van Halen would tour again in 2010. The lineup this time would feature David Lee Roth, Eddie, Wolfgang, and Alex Van Halen.
Whitney Houston - Her Nothing But Love World Tour will visit Europe, Asia, and Australia in 2010. Certainly Whitney is saving all her love for a visit to the U.S.?
The Who - Halftime at the Super Bowl isn't going to be the only concert for The Who in 2010. Comments made by Roger Daltry in 2009 almost guarantee fans that The Who is touring this year.
