Formerly known as: New York Titans, 1960-1962. Sonny Werblin changed the name to "Jets" when he bought the team in 1963.

The NYSCC West Side Stadium project in NYC, still under consideration, would expected to be the home of the Jets by 2010 if built. The team is also being courted by its current landlord, the New Jersey Sports and Exhibition Authority (NJSEA), to remain in the Meadowlands as part of plans to construct a new Giants Stadium.

The New England Patriots

The New England Patriots are a National Football League team based in Foxboro, Massachusetts. Home stadium: Gillette Stadium. Nearly 85,000 fans attended the Patriots 2004 training camp, which was under the supervision of head coach Bill Belichick. New England Patriots opened the 2004 preseason by playing host to the Philadelphia Eagles. The team has brought on some new players for the 2004 season, including Dana Stubblefield (defensive player of the year). Stubblefield signed with the team in August, and will be starting his 12th NFL season in 2004. This 33-year-old defensive tackle has played for San Francisco, Washington and Oakland. He was with the Raiders last season after a second stint with the 49ers. Coach Belichick is known for using veterans on his teams, which is one of the reasons he has recruited Stubblefield. Stubblefield will be filling in for Ted Washington, a free agent who left the team in 2003. The Patriots have had a number of unbelievably successful seasons, winning the AFC East division title and Super Bowl 3 out of the last 4 yeas! The Pats can finally be called a Dynasty.
