The Wells Fargo Center is located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The $210 million arena is situated on the southwest corner of the South Philadelphia Sports Complex. The Wells Fargo Center is home to the Philadelphia 76'ers of the NBA, the Philadelphia Flyers of the NHL, the Philadelphia Wings of the NLL as well as the Philadelphia Soul of the AFL. Other venues within the complex include Lincoln Financial Field, home of the NFL's Philadelphia Eagles, and Citizens Bank Park, home of MLB's Philadelphia Phillies. Before selling Wells Fargo Center tickets the venue sold Wachovia Center tickets from 2003 to 2010.

In 2002, a riot broke out at a Guns N' Roses concert that caused well over $30,000 worth of damage to the Wells Fargo Arena. The reason for the riot was simple: the band never showed up and that didn't sit well with fans. In 2006, legendary singer-songwriter Billy Joel set a record for selling out the most shows at the center. Joel sold out all the Wells Fargo tickets to 17 concerts. In 2010, the Well Fargo Center hosted the Stanley Cup Finals. This made the arena one of the few in the country to have hosted both a Stanley Cup Finals and an NBA Finals (2001). Unfortunately for Philadelphia fans, neither of their teams did very well. They both lost.
